Celebrity Interviews, Encouragement, Life Is Beautiful

Celebrity Interviews from Eternal Salvation

FrontGate Media provided me the opportunity to preview Eternal Salvation and allowed access to the movie’s stars so I could bring you these interviews and insight into this incredible production.

“If you’ve ever struggled with being a Christian amongst nonbelievers, this movie is for YOU!”

What if you were on top of the world one minute, enjoying the finest things in life: a lucrative career, a loving wife, beautiful child?

Then, in the blink of an eye, everything changed.

And the world that was so comfortable and happy became unrecognizable, lonely, and full of questions.

In Eternal SalvationBradley Snedeker (Death Waits for No Man, Revenge, and International Christian Film Festival Best Actor Nominee) portrays Jonathan Wright. He’s the man on top with everything working in his favor. But then a health catastrophe changes everything: his friendships, his future, and maybe even his heart.

After previewing Eternal Salvation, I was granted access to two of its talented actors, Bradley Snedeker (Jonathan) and Darren Dupree Washington (Paul Jenkins).

2016 OFFICIAL NOMINATION BEST ACTOR FEATURE FILM

In this piece, I share my interview with Bradley who plays Jonathan:

MP:  As Jonathan, you portrayed a man who was both of no faith and one who came to explore it. How challenging was this for you?

BS:  Bringing Jonathan Wright from a place of no faith to faith was the most challenging aspect of the film. It’s basically creating two separate characters for one film. On the one hand, you have a man who is kind in nature, but only lives for success, money, and power. From his perspective, that’s what the whole point of life is. Then comes a tragedy that nearly takes his life from him, leaving him in a somewhat helpless void of existence where he has absolutely no idea what to do or how to do it. Jonathan is left with a desperate need for guidance. And of course, that’s where Paul comes in.

Paul is the mentor Jonathan needs to help him find a new path and the courage to walk it. And with this new path, Jonathan begins to build a new outlook on what true happiness is and the true value of life itself. This transition took me quite a bit of soul searching and spiritual reading to pull it off.

MP:  In what ways has playing Jonathan through his journey affected you personally?

BS:  It’s not that playing Jonathan affected me in the film. But what it did was remind me of my own personal tragedies that have caused me to question my own values and outlook on life. I won’t go into too much detail, but I have experienced loss, pain, and several dark times that forced me to question what I’m doing with my life and if I, myself, am truly on the correct path. When playing Jonathan, I was always bringing these experiences with me in every scene.

MP:  Congratulations on your Best Actor Award nomination! What projects are you currently working on?

BS:  Thank you very much. I was quite thrilled to be nominated. I just recently finished a film titled “Death Waits for No Man,” and I’m currently wrapping up a pilot for A&E titled “Infamous.”

Tomorrow, please come back where we talk with Bradley’s co-star, Darren Dupree Washington and hear what he shares with us about his experience on the set of Eternal Salvation!

See you tomorrow!
