Smile Brilliant sends you all you need to make molds for your teeth. This process takes mere minutes and is super easy and of course, entirely painless. The directions are clear and simple to follow. It’s an important first step because Smile Brilliant makes custom trays to perfectly fit your teeth from these molds. This enables maximum whitening ability.
I popped those molds into the mailing envelope they provided for me with and away they went. Very quickly, I received the trays back and could start the whitening process immediately. The syringes filled with whitening solution are again, easy to use to. Just drop some gel into the trays, making sure each tooth spot gets some attention, then put the trays in your mouth. There’s no mess like some other trays. And I didn’t drool. You can leave the trays into whiten for 45 minutes up to 3 hours.

This process didn’t get in the way of any of my activities. You could pop in your trays and do housework, watch a movie or TV show, work, make dinner, get on your computer, pretty much anything. It doesn’t inhibit your ability to continue on with your routine. The best time to do this is late in the day before bed because then you can also apply the desensitizing gel, as appropriate, and let it do its work while you sleep.
I felt this kit and process both looked and worked professionally. As a side note, I did take a packet and list of ingredients to my dentist’s office. I always like to double check safety before putting anything into my body. They assured me of the product’s safety and told me the ingredients are the same as used in the dental office, so I felt confident using Smile Brilliant since I got their go-ahead.
While whitening, I watched TV, listened to music, baked, talked on the phone, read, sat outside relaxing, working on some writing projects, and updated my planner. You can do almost anything while whitening. The process meshes with your schedule, versus you having to adjust your schedule to the whitening process.
