You want to write, so now what? What should you do to propel your writing career forward? Or to begin it?

Friday, Date Day & a Writers Conference

Today was a different kind of Friday. It ended up being “date day” and I didn’t get anything else done at home including cleaning or writing. Once the kids were safely deposited at their respective schools, my husband and I hit the open road for a day together filled with “whatever.” He’s been working a lot lately for which we are grateful, of course. He surprised me with a rare weekday off and it was good to have that couple time. We had a lovely breakfast at a favorite cafe and tackled some errands including dropping my car at the mechanic’s (still waiting to hear on that and praying it’s easily fixed and most importantly, inexpensively), and various other stops including the dollar store, our wireless carrier, and the bank.
