Recently, my husband and I were on our own for the weekend. Our kids were off together for a couple of days having fun, and we declared this time The Weekend of Us. We didn’t go away. My husband worked and I tackled some things around the house. But we seized this opportunity to make time just for us.
Time is incredibly important. We can’t freeze it, bank it or get it back once it’s gone.
But we can appreciate the time we have. We had a lovely lunch one day, and went to an escape room for the first time (it was a blast) and a nice dinner after, and we just dedicated this time for hanging out together and doing whatever we wanted to.

The uniqueness of this Jord watch is unmatched. It’s a wooden watch. I’ve never seen another person in real life wear a wooden watch and I feel very en vogue and like a bit of a trendsetter when wearing mine. It goes with every outfit whether I’m dressed casually in jeans and a tee or dressed up for date night in a fancy top and heels.

The craftsmanship is pleasing to the eye and impressive to the touch. You can tell by feeling the watch how well it has been made. It’s a quality piece. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and impressive. One of my favorite things about this watch is the cool “double clasp.” It offers extra security but it’s still really easy to close on your own. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it! My family members keep wanting to borrow it. (Maybe I’ll let them. Maybe).
