‘Take Back Your Time’ Review and Giveaway

When Morgan’s family moved across to the ocean to Europe, she was apprehensive. It was an overwhelming undertaking moving a family, car, and cat into a completely new culture. But they accepted the adventure and it changed her life.

BlogAbout provided me with a copy of this book to read and offer my honest review. I was not otherwise compensated. The opinions are honest and my own.

Morgan Tyree is the author of Take Back Your Time: Identify Your Priorities, Decrease Stress, and Increase Productivity, a book about discovering the secret of getting more out of your day.

Take Back Your Time showed up in my mailbox at a great time: I’m really busy. Besides the health issues I struggle with that lead to many doctors’ visits and appointments for tests, I have a son who’s a senior in high school which is a super busy time. And then there’s regular life stuff like laundry and writing my book.

If you don’t manage your time, it will manage you.

You want to make the most of each day and achieve efficiency. We have so many distractions in our world these days that staying on track is a challenge but one we need to conquer.

Morgan’s book helps you find balance in your busy life. She aspires to guide you into less hustle and more harmony. We make tons of decisions every day and Morgan says, “There is such a thing as decision fatigue, and it often leads to paralysis by analysis.” So many good choices are in front of us, but also there are a plethora of tiny daily decisions. We get overwhelmed.

Morgan’s time management tools include a chart in the book and a link to download it so you can map out your day and make it count. The book helps you identify the most productive times in your day, how to schedule your three time zones – moxie time, multitasking time, and me time – as well as how to savor the season you’re in, and set goals that are achievable and align with your values.

Morgan directs you on using your strengths to effectively reach your goals. This is a great resource for whatever season of life you’re in.

You can find Take Back Your Time on Amazon. Morgan earned her BS degree in business administration with an emphasis in small business and entrepreneurship from the University of Oregon and has worked in the fields of marketing, management, and human resources. She blogs weekly at Morganize with Me. She contributes to the popular monthly blog I’m an Organizing Junkie. Morgan and her husband David have three children and live in Colorado
